IFO car show argument about Rotary and classics.
so there was a big argument with the IFO car show judges and some of the San Antonio guys, about how they are selecting all the rotaries and old classic JDM as one catagory for judging. on the argument it was mention that you cant put a fully modified FD to compete with 82 corolla and 510 datsun as a classic, and then giving the trophy for best mazda to stock mazdaspeed3 just cuz it belong to some dump car club that take anything that has tires on it. the 2nd thing that it was mention that a classic car is classic it was to be looked not just on the outside but on the inside too. the 82 corrola was fully restored inside and out but again the classic trophy was given to the 510 datsun that looked good from outside but extremely dirty from the inside, they didnt even tried to get dust of the seats and dashboard oh yeah it belong to that same dump car club as the MS3.
so since we prove our point to the judges that they were wrong, we got them to admit it that we did have a point, what they are going to do they are going to open a catagory just for rotary for 1st and 2nd price winner, and they will be paying more attention on the classic inside and out and give 1st and 2nd price winner too, they also said that will be doing this for all the rest of IFO event not just Ennis only. so I hope that all rotary owners and also any other classic imports owner bring your cars to the IFO car show as well.
