Huge DFW meet 3-5-07

http://www.ricekiller.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21483

It should be awesome. Probably 200-300 cars. Go to video.google.com and look up ricekiller to see some footage of the meets from last year.

I have had a few people tell me its a dead link. That is odd. Even when I am not logged in, it shows up fine.

Anyway, here are the details:
Who: Ricekiller.com
Where: Keller's Drive In; 6537 E Northwest Hwy, Dallas 75231
When: Monday, 8:30 to 11:30

Rules:
No ricers (spinners, bling bling glowing lights, burnouts, 1000s stickers, 20ft wings, etc)
Pick up your trash
No outside food or drinks (there will be specials, they have beer, etc)
Park as far to the back of the parking lot as you can to not disrupt their normal business.

Here is a video about the meet: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/7...e300767422.htm

You can go to www.ricekiller.com forum and browse to the car meets and GTG section to see the sticky at the top.

I remember a few years ago the Rx7 club went there, and they wouldn't serve anyone because of the import factor. then the cop kicked everyone under 21 out, because in the "keller's Rules" to be on the property after 9 you must be 21.

but I will be there

This is the first time that this organization has gone there. I know the guy that runs it so there shouldn't be any dumb crap like that. I will be in my MR2.

As long as underage people don't do stupid things like get drunk there shouldn't be any problems.

Anyone who is mature and has a pretty clean car should feel welcomed.

I don't mean to sound negative, but there is no way 200-300 cars will fit in Keller's back lot. I go there several times a year and I've parked in the back lot several times - it's just not that big. It will be cool to see a large number of cars there though, especially with the weather finally warming up.

PS - the link works for me now.

Looks like one guy posted pictures. For a "rice Killer" meet, there sure was a lot of friggin' rice. The ghey F150 with blue wheels. WTF? Looks like there were some cool 60's muscle cars, but I didn't see anything else worth looking at in those pictures. Scions and DSM's.

I honestly only saw one homeless guy and he wasn't even in the parking lot. He was across the street.

It was pretty fun. Too bad not many 7s showed up. There was a pretty cool looking FD with custom paint though.

I think the riciest car definitely was that Eclipse with a supra back end.
