So, there was supposed to be an 80% chance of rain in Austin all weekend, but I just talked to the Weather Station here on base and this hellish wind that started this morning is going to push all the moisture to the east coast.

So no rain, but it'll be dry and windy as **** all weekend, so if any of you were thinking of getting your car detailed/washed/etc for the show, go for it.

 

so we all gonna have a late lunch/gathering in austin before we roll to the show? which austinite do we have here that knows of a good place w/ plenty of parking?

I'd say Threadgill's. It's great food, unique atmosphere and the parking ain't bad.

That's just my .02 though.

 

just talked to my friend with a JZA80 supra and he said that theres 40+ cars from houston and other areas are going to meet at Highland mall from 10am - 1pm. i'll be at that one cuz i dont know my way around austin too much.
