Good Transmission shop (Austin)
I have no idea about transmission specific shops.. But Protech Performance is trustworthy and may be able to recommend a shop.. Give them a call and see what they can do or reference for you. MZM is also a good rotary shop, but very expensive.
PS - Were you on Mopac heading South at some point yesterday? Or was that Saturday? I'm pretty sure I saw your car.. At first I thought it was the Alamo Motorsports 20b RX8 then I saw it was some other yellow RX8

thanks but no offense, I don't trust those shops at all. I've spoken to some of the people that work there and they seem okay, but I still don't think I'd trust their shop(s) with advice or work on my car etc. as I just keep hearing bad things about them from time to time.
I was on slopac for a bit over the weekend and 360 as well. I got my questions answered (somewhat anyway) by a place on Burnet rd., they were a bit sketchy (left my trunk open and also told me that "nobody else will work on my car" ) and way too expensive so I ended up taking my car elsewhere to get fixed.
