When I mean "sometimes" I mean... an acquaintence has had police attempt to pull him over upwards of 20 times and he has successfully evaded almost all of them. He also sets the police up to fail with where he does stupid things, so he's planning to run from the police from the time he gets in the car.
It's really REALLY unfortunate though, because if they'd gotten him in jail sooner he wouldn't be in for 2 counts of vehicular homicide right now.

That's the exact thing I said to people at work (military watch floor covering the entire European/African theater ... buncha high ranking intel weenies. And me, giggling and going batshit over the whole thing) lol.
I told them "The 7 can't lose, unless it's not turbo'd =(" they looked at me funny..

This chase ended about 5 mins from my house. My freind Bryan worked on that car on Saturday at a local Mazda shop. He said the guy came in to get the glass replaced in his passenger door. Bryan said the guy had gotten robbed of all his tools just the other day and seemed like a pretty normal guy, He was living out of a local monthly/weekly hotel qnd worked as a contruction guy. It is assumed he was a bit of a drifter (the travelling kind, not the sideways kind kids) Looks like he must've just snapped.

MAYBE THEY BROKE OUT THE BACK GLASS OVER THE WEEKEND, THE NEWS DID NOT SAY IT OCCURED DURING THE CHASE. LAST WEEK HE BOUGHT A USED ALTERNATOR FROM US. OTHER THAN BEING A LITTLE UNKEPT, HE SEEMED NORMAL, NOT SERIAL KILLER SCARY.

Hmm... must have changed it on ya. Fox likes to switch **** up randomly.
Though, imo, the show "Red Eye" which comes on at 3am (8am my time) makes up for ANY downfalls of the news network.
It is a sardonic god.

That car spun a bit too easily. Looks like he was on the brakes as he came up behind that last car and the back end came around. I wonder if his left rear tire lost air.

Looks like the car had a back seat, too.
Like my first FC... "champagne" s5 w/ red interior + back seats. Only mine was in much nicer condition.
And he seemed to be going much faster than 80 to me. He'd have to be doing 120 to pass cars like that in Dallas
