I wish I could be there. Maybe Brad will have to take my FD out there and run it around for me.
As for heat, I'll take Houston over where I'm at now, 120 degrees in the shade is no-fooling hot... take it out on the flightline where the cement has been baking in the sun all day, and you're talking 140 easy. On the upside, its not very humid... when the sun is up.

Thanks for the rude comments as usual of course if you look closely you will see the stickied threads are not weighted in favor of any specific group. Threads are sticked upon request, PM's preferred.

Also if you plan on tracking your vehicle you will need to bring a Helmet. We will not have enough to loan out.
Again I look forward to seeing everyone on Oct 27.
If you have not registered please do so at www.rotaryrendezvous.com. If you have registered would you please take the time and reregister. I had a problem w/ my email and lost a majority of those who have registered.
Thank you,
Brad

sorry to jump in on this thread and be off topic but you guys are the only ones i see from Oklahaoma dealing with rotarys. i live in okinawa japan rite now but mite get stationed at Tinker A.F.B and have some decisions to make. #1 is that i already have an 84 GSL-SE that has been street ported and done up in storage in florida and am wondering if i should sell it or not. #2 is that i have a 20b FC conversion sitting in my driveway here in japan and want to bring the engine and everything except the car itself with me. im really not sure if i should keep the 1st gen and sell the 20b and use the money to make my first gen even better or find an old beat up FC and drop the 20b into that and continue on with my project. bottom line is that im going to need some connections and resourceful people at one point or another with some costumization and even rebuilding of one of these engines and want to know if there are any "go to people" in or around oklahoma that can help.
Yeah there are a few of us around here. Marc or Mr.Oujia on here is at Tinker AFB. We did his motor single setup and other stuff. Look over at RotaryRendezvous.com and join the forum. ITs a regional one.
Anyhow,
Looking forward to seeing you guys at the track and q. PLease register so we know how much food to get. THank you.
