i'm gonna head up to the meet up. my rx-7 is bone stock though but in 2 months will have much changes. i don't have a state inspection or registration stickers at all. do cops show up b/c i really don't need a ticket right now.

hahaha, same thing happend to me several months back. You can possibly get another OMP and an ECU from Curtis if he has any at his shop. I'd say you'll probably be able to get an OMP from Curtis but the ECU will be the tricky one. I don't know if rotary performance is selling them, or for what gen they are for, but the last time i was there, they had crapload of stock ecus crammed in one of their shelves in the garage collecting dust. Someone had an ecu or two for sale on ebay. You can check there.

 

cool, he was my next stop i just got a tranny from him for a vert i got(too bad it ended up having a bad coolant seal,doh). i saw that he had a modded N374 jap ECU available that i might get from him. nervous about that tho since the first jap N374 ecu i got wouldn't even run my car. ah well we'll see what happens, thanks

Yeah.....The N353 I had a sold to someone with that same problem. He got a good deal on that one. The N374....I sold to someone else having problems with their OMP. And the N370 (that I offered Spaintz), Edgar bought.

Good deal, but an A/F ratio is kinda deceptive if taken at the muffler when you have a working cat...and what happened? NO RX-8s (I guess they got scared some FDs would show up to show them up...), one FD and one FB, mine....it was a nice showing from the 2ndgen guys, though...good stuff there, including a 59,000 mile 10th anniversary...

I didn't cruise this time, but I did a few highway pulls with the G35 on the way home.

 

I just called Speed Tech about their Dyno deal. This is the story, $35 for 3 pulls on the last saturday of every month (weather permitting). It is $65 for 3 pulls during the week. Wide Band is extra$. So the 25th is the next time they with do this. I still want to go even if they don't do the wide band.
