DFW RX-7/RX-8 club track day

We are in the process of trying to put together a track day for later this fall. We wanted to get other club member's input as we planned for it. Right now we are looking at an event at either the track in Hallett, OK (http://www.hallettracing.net/) or MSR in Cresson (http://www.motorsportrancg.com). If we did it at Hallett we would get the track for the entire day and be able to have mutiple sessions. If we did it at MSR we'd have to work around their schedule and have a limit amount of sessions. An event at MSR would probaly be a lot like the focus day we had there 2 years ago. An event at Hallett would probaly cost more (depending on how many people went), around $150-$300 (thats a guess), whereas a MSR event would probally be less.

Please post your opinions here, and I'll tally them up, so we can make a decision that will best suit everyone. Thanks.

JC

I voted for MSR, but now that I think about it an entire day might let me sort my car out. Either way if you guys can stand my 103db EP car I'll go.

Having run both, I'd certainly vote Hallett... A littel further, but cheaper and a TON more fun...

The only caviat being, Hallet has tire walls that are possible to hit... Off track excursions may cost a bit more

If it was at MSR I'd bring a couple Spec7's out... if it was Hallett I'd have to have a track car ready by then to make it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm not a member of any clubs, so I don't know that my opinion matters.
