What a night...After leaving the meet, I head down 635 and as soon as I make the exit for 35 my car dies. Looks like its the alternator and/or possibly some faulty grounds. Thank goodness for AAA...I just got home.

Anyway...good meet tonight. For the guys I was talking to about the PLX gauges, here is the link.

Dude, I met a chick who could possibly be your hot blonde sister earlier today.

RX13?? Yep, since I've owned the thing it's been "fix this, replace this, remove this." By the time I'm done I'll have to start replacing the components I originally replaced because I'll be back to the beginning again! But whatever, it's still worth it.

I was able to run the car off the tow guy's jumper box so he didn't destroy my front bumper dragging my car onto the bed. That helped me decide to move the Create custom tow hook action item on my list to near the top.

So rather than bother with swapping out alternators and pulleys to another series and all that, can anyone recommend a good alternator repair shop? I'd like to have it rewound for a little higher output, but not even sure of what a decent price would be....let alone a reputable shop. Any help is appreciated!

Cool

Come on!!!, those pair of K&N and AIRNIX (?) filters need a good cleaning.
This is easy basic maintenance for the RX13.

Of all those, I'll take the M3 E36, great for the track, looks good and no overheating issues in traffic with AC on.
It should be renamed M7 for reliability.

I had mine done here, but they are kind pricey(low hundred).
