My car finally passed emissions (yay!) but it looks like I'm going to have guests over, so I'll likely see everyone next month.

i am having trouble finding the right Cheddar's off of 635 or getting the intersection of 635 and MacAuthur to show up in Yahoo or Google maps.

Can some one post directions from Denton or give me the address of the Cheddar's?

Thanks,

^ I-35 South to 635 West take the MacArthur exit. Go South on MacArthur, which takes you over 635, and get on the Eastbound service road. You'll see a Saltgrass Steakhouse, McDonald's, and Cheddar's. Turn by the McDonald's and go to the parking lot directly behind it (Cheddar's is just off to the East).

It was nice seeing everyone and also getting some screen names attached to real names, something I hadn't really given a thought to doing in quite a while!

Next month, I think I'll bring a little door prize to entice more folk to show up. I'm also going to pitch the monthly meet in the FTW Star-Telegram's "Community Events" box they reserve for local car shows to see if that can get some Arlington rotorheads out.

Jerry,

It's the other way around, man! Stay tuned to South Forum for the rotary events happening in your neck of the woods!

As you may or may not have noticed, the post count meter is NOT turned off in South Forum, "good" conversations here will build your count...just try to keep your posts productive, meaningful and positive, as much as you can. I'm a real merge-happy kind of moderator.

Look forward to meeting other people than can relate to me when i say it has a rotary engine, I live in hunt county, not too many 1st gen rx7`s around here. Any advice on storage bins the other owner didn`t have them, is just a open hole, apex has some without the lid for around $50 for both, probally should just buy them, no luck with local wrecking yards for parts

You live in Hunt county eh? I'm in Quinlan, where are you?

Yea, I scour most of the yards around here and none of them have had any FBs in years.

Now, I shouldn't be doing this but if you make the May meet, Jerry, you can simply HAVE the two bins from my '83 RX-7...the lids no longer are attached to the plastic bins but all of the stuff is in mint condition. I no longer need them as I pursue a radical rework of that area.

Gerald, welcome! You no longer need an emission test since your car is 25 years young! Just need the basic safety inspection..... $12.50 and you're on the road again.... legally!
