TX Dfw: I need help!

I don't know many people around dfw that have rx7's. I'm completely lost on why my '88 t2 won't start, I have no idea where to go from here, I would love some help. I can pay with beer or parts, I have two 13b's sitting in my garage. I'm in the Mckinney/Frisco area. I'm completely new to 7's, I've always had older bimmers.

Guess I should mention, the leading coils only fire once every (what sounds like) 6 pulses instead of once per pulse and only the first trailing coil fires. I'm pretty sure this is what's keeping it from running. The wiring is kind of hacked from the previous owner so it could be related to that.

Have you tried replacing the coils? Might be something that simple...

Yep, replaced both leading and trailing coils, I think it's a bit more in depth/wiring harness related. Does anyone have an s4 t2 harness that I can buy from them? I think I want to just replace the whole thing to get rid of all that chopped crap in there.

Ugh, I cut off the majority of the electrical tape from the engine harness and it's a complete clusterfuck. This warrants just getting another harness, there are way too many spots where the PO played around, I have no doubt this has something to do with it failing to start.

No sir, about 40 minutes. It's been quite awhile since I've been up that way.
