Be prepared to run your car as it looks like we have a track day at the Sheriff's training track. I am awaiting final approval from them, but I feel comfortable enough now to mention it. As of right now it will not cost anything, unless I have to provide insurance for the day then it will be $20-25 per vehicle. In past events this has not been a problem. Its a ton of fun and you get to play w/ your car and not worry about police or any problems. It will start at 10am and we will shut down around 5pm and from there we can go cruise, eat, or whatever.
Anyways like I said if you are interested I need to know as I have 5 already committed and space is limited to 20 cars.
THanks,
Brad

Darn. I might have been interested. Weather may be a bit too cool anyways, as the SE (still) doesn't have heat.
Yep, I'm still alive, and still doing the rotary thing. The red 83 hasn't seen a lot of highway use this year, and the SE has only been driven once for a nice sunday drive (rallycross 11/21/10 at TRP). I moved a few months back, and just haven't had much time to enjoy the cars.
BTW, I built a new PC in Nov 08, and forgot about this forum. Last log in was 11/7/08, until today. Guess I'm getting forgetful in my old age. They say memory is the second thing to go, I forget what's the first..........

Yeah I am rescheduling and it will prob be in Jan. It will cost now due to them requiring insurance for public liability, something we could get around in the past. It looks like $25-35 on cost and I am working on a new date. I will update when I know more.

Brad, when this gets reschedualed, can you send a PM my way? I don't always remember to check this section, and would hate to miss the new date.
Gotta give that SE a track run. You know you wanna see it in action, again.......

I would have missed seeing this post as well. But, I'm glad it has been rescheduled, as my car is still in the shop being finished up. I would love to come out to the sheriffs track. All of this assuming my car is ready and able. Cheers -Sean
Edit: Well, I say that, but I have a perfectly fine Mazdaspeed 3 outside.

The 84 SE isn't tagged for road use, due to lack of insurance. This time of year, it's not like I really want to drive a car with no heat.......

Obviously, snow/ice would likely keep me from making the trip down the 'pike.
If it was planned for sunday, my boy would also be able to attend. He's 18 now, and works for a living, but has sunday's off.

Start the New Years rotary style.
I need some ideas, but I would be up for a get together lat2 afternoon say 2 ish on Jan. 1 2011. We could grab some food shoot the breeze and then go for a cruise.
What is the take on this?
If this sounds like fun for you then please chime in so we can get a head count.
As for restraunts here are some of my ideas:
1. Earls in Moore.
2. Freddy's in Moore of I-35.
3. Ted's Mexican food
4. The always tasty Chick Filet
5. Qudoba
Please submit your suggestions. All these places are in the Moore - N. Norman area as that is what is close to me.
