In Dallas for the weekend
So yea, I am in Dallas for the weekend.
Anyone got any good suggestions on family things to do. Site seeing type stuff or things of that nature? We're somewhere in the downtown area. I saw a thread about a dyno day tomorrow. That sounds fun, but I don't think two little kids would be entertained that long.
So yea, any suggestions would go a looooong way.
Thanks guys.

The Dallas World Aquarium is a good time. My two year old has loved it for, well, two years.

p.s. You can always drop by Rotary Performance and say Hi but if you're already in downtown Dallas that may be a bit of a trek with two little ones.

I went to the Dealey Plaza Museum(JFK assassination thing) and the Dallas World Aquarium with my parents when they were here a month ago.
The Civic Center park in Dallas is pretty cool.
They have like 100 life-size 2X the normal size sculpture. It's Longhorn drive scene with some Cowboys on horses. It's an interesting piece. Just across from it, is the old-world Dallas cemetary. A good family stop. You can walk right up to it.
One thing I'd suggest: Watch for scams. Some people pose as lot attendants. My parents ended up giving out $5 to a lot attendant. We found out after parking he had stolen $5 from us.
