LA Baton Rouge - It was inevitable

Well, after driving my never been wrecked FB in Baton Rouge for 2 years, looks like it may have been totaled out today. Damn woman rear ended me going about 30mph while i was stopped in traffic at a light on Lee Drive.

she was driving a 2006 ford taurus, and i was pushed under a toyota highlander. smashed both sides of my car, front and the back. I drove it home though, the taurus got towed.

the price you pay for driving a classic car - i wish i would have been in my jaguar instead of my mazda. new cars are "disposable".

happy valentines day everybody.

Damn, that just really sucks. Sorry to hear about that. Obviously glad that you're ok and I hope that you're able to save your FB.

I was involved in a similar situation (although it sounds like less damage) last year in my FD. Very sorry to hear about it. Post pics if you want the commiserating to really pick up. Glad you're okay.

Yep, mine was white with the konig rewinds on it. you would see it alot around mid-city. its parked in front of my house over there on ingleside drive.

wowzer - no, i cant say that there is a "scene" over there for the rx7's.

if any of you guys know where i can find an old fb roller in the area, let me know please.

Thanks!

d@mn, that sucks...had my TII wrecked by some careless driver. Hope you have luck getting back on the road with another rotary.

I wish there was better protection for the older classics...
