Bad news--->houston

i started my 1980 rx7 driven it like 4 miles to my friends house and when i wanted to leave i tried to start it over but it didn't turn, i could hear the fuel pump running no problem with that, but the engine wasn't turning; i was turning the key but it was like if i was doing nothing, nothing was happening.

need some help, is it possible to be the altranater, or the starter?

Does your car have power, did you check all your starter connections, bad alternator will still start the car unless your battery is gone, check your starter.

if it does nothing as you say, consider this kind of damage as good news and not bad news. Its either a battery, alternator, or a starter

it's not the battery, cause there is electacity that reachs to fuel pump, and lights hopefully its just the starter

Just cause it turns on the fuel pump doesn't mean that its enough juice to crank the starter

Try and jump start the car.

If it won't start, pull the starter and take it to Autobone or test it yourself out of the car.

If you need to move the car until you get things sorted out, push start that ho.
