This would be my first Autorama if my wife and I end up going - I'm leaning towards Sunday, because she usually works Friday and Saturday nights, so I'll miss the Pro Formula Mazda driver chick. I may be able to catch the burnout competition if we go Sunday though. Are there some good Japanese sports cars there? We do the carshow thing all year, and Chevelle's, Mustangs, El Caminos, GTOs and '32 Ford T buckets are nice and all, but it'd be nice to see some really clean, well done custom Rx7's, Supras, Skylines, etc. for a change. I'd even settle for some clean Honda Civics - last car show we went to a 1995 Saturn won best compact car, despite having half an interior missing, primered fenders and front bumper cover, and a For Sale sign missing letters on the back glass made from peel-off DIY vinyl stickers from WalMart. :P I wanted to cry, having two in-progress imports at home that would have smoked it.

 

not to many imports at autorama, mostly muscle cars. as far as imports its mostly older european sports cars, Aston and MGs

 

That'd still be cool. I'm just tired of seeing the same 6 cars in different colors at every carshow I go to. :p I wanna see something different. The Italian car show at Lake Grapevine during Grapefest last year was awesome. I'm glad I wore my rubber pants.
