But I had an o2 sensor check engine light so they said "Your computer says your o2 sensors are bad" and I said "Yes, that's the problem, I've already changed them all" and they said "Well, one of them is still bad". So I said "If I left it here to be fixed what would you do?" - they said "We would replace all the o2 sensors." (I'm really REALLY not making this up.) I said "I just changed them all!" - "Yes, but we didn't change them" - "How much would that run?" "$150 a/pc, and there're 4 of them, so $600 plus labor" - "And when that doesn't fix it?" "I don't know, I guess we'd put in a new computer" "How much is that going to cost?" "About $1200" - "I can't just get a computer from a scrapyard and swap it in?" "Oh no, we used about 30 different computers for the T-bird in 1997, so the letter codes would have to match. :P" So I went home and priced the computers, but like they said, I couldn't find a used one that matched my letter code. So I traded it in for $1500 off a 2001 VW Jetta, because I was traveling 200 miles every day and needed a car.
Jacqui, since you DO work for the Ford house - you would be my bestest best friend if you could do me a HUGE favor. . . what would be the odds of you getting me a chart of the CPU pinouts for a 1992 Mercury Capri NA ECU ? I've got a sensor that's gone nuts and I can't find it. :P

Although every Mustang you listed save the Cobra was performance tweaked by an aftermarket house - that's like saying "Oh I love Supra's... like that Denso Sard one from Gran Turismo"
Correction, that SARD is an all-purpose track/race car. Most of these companies I mentioned claim "street legal" and a few of them have their own custom VINs... thus legally making it a different car in itself (in my book as well). And Jacqui... when I said Roush, or any of these companies for that matter, I mean the top model.... completely modified to the welds of the frame. If they can sell you a car without you having to go buy a stock one from the dealership, OR you do have to but the car doesn't have an ounce of originality left in it..... it IS a different car because nothing on it is what you started out with. Its no longer a Ford Mustang... its YOUR Mustang!!!!!! Of course just about any muscle car pre-80s kicks *** no matter what it is. I saw this uber clean Sky blue 1969 Boss Mustang like 2, or 3, weeks ago and it looked and sounded absolutely amazing. Oh gawds... speaking of which.... I left out Shinoda!!!!
