[Houston] Spring Scenic Drive - April 28th 2007
[Houston] Spring Scenic Drive - April 28th 2007
Greetings all,
It's that time again to get those rotors spinning out on the open road. I have several routes full of backroad goodness in mind but I would like to get a consensus on the overall trip distance you all would like to embark on.
We have options for drives with 100+, 200+ and even 300+ mile round trips, all I need to know from you guys is how much driving can you handle?!?! So please take a moment to vote for the drive distance your most interested in and I will do my best to give you the best route possible.
Please only vote if you are truly willing to make the drive you vote for. Voting will end on April 17th, two weeks from today.

Hey Keith,
How about this one ?? YOU ARE INVITED Sat. May 5 to meet (3 Miata & RX clubs) @ Shiner Texas Brewery 12 noon. Go with Houston Miata's if you wish or drive your own scenic route up & back. We go on an alternate route with Austin Miata's & meet everyone else there in Shiner. I think this is 60+ direct miles from Houston.
Sat. May 5 is the Greater Austin to Shiner Pedal (G.A.S.P. bicycling event) benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation. A $20.ea. contribution @ the brewery includes food/drinks/beer from noon to 5pm. This will be a major Mazda event w/6 clubs. See: (shinergasp.com) (TexasRxs.ORG) (tejasmiata.org).
Let me know; this will make up for the one last year that rained out.
