[DFW] Autox at TMS roadcourse Oct 15

The Texas Region SCCA will host an autox on the TMS roadcourse this Sunday, Oct 15. This event typically draws people from other regions and fills up completely. Register now if you wish to attend!

Entrance to the event is through the tunnel at the south end of the track.

^ There were far more people than I expected to see in the bad weather. A large Lotus convention was in town and many came out to the event. Got to see a supercharged Exige.

I never got my car to work well on that surface in the rain and it was an absolute handfull, but it was a fun course and a fun day even considering all the rain.

This was freaking awesome! Although it took about 2 days before I fully dried out. And James (Wankel7) up there sandbagging "Oh, I haven't autocrossed in years, I'm just here to have fun" and pulls out freaking first place Street Mod overall. Not even just first in his category, but first over all the Street modified cars (which means engine/turbo mods that don't fit into other categories).

Here's pics of my car running (number 12) and Wankel7 (number 33) proving that you don't have to have expensive numbers to whoop a$$. And my wife racing my daily driver Neon to her third autocross trophy of the year.
