See you at the BBQ, folks.

I know he's got more under the hood, but when he drove by and my car was idling, I couldn't hear him. I can't believe we missed the opportunity to test it out when we were both right there. Oh well, maybe at the next Saturday meeting. All I know is that my car is actually a good deal quieter if I run with an open header.

Thanks!

Congrats to mar3 on winning the custom guage faces. I want to see a pic when you get them installed. I don't know if I will like them enough to have bothered installing them.

I actually voted for your car, cause it just ain't right to vote for yourself.

I was surprised to see more 1st gens than 3rd gens. I thought the DFW area was full of FD's.

i think you might have the wrong name to go with those gauges. i got a set of the guage faces that look like these ones. i havent put them in yet, but as soon as i do, ill post some pics somewhere.

mar3 won the ones in the raffle that was held before the meet, and i got the ones at the meet, because i was the only other person there who had a 84-85.

Mar3 also won the set for the 83. It was a 50-50 shot between him and me. He got the gauge faces, I got the trophy. Fair enough.

Yeah, I had lots of fun. Unfortunately I didn't connect up forum names with actual people in most cases, though. Maybe next year if my car is running.

yeah, it was a relaxing event for me. i haven't seen so many RX7's in my life (other than when we had an RX7 convention in Japan). i was embarrased to show my car (the black FC with an S5 mirror on the driver side and a TII mirror on the passenger side and blue doors). i promise by spring Q, my car is gonna be prettIER. hopefully i can get a hold of some parts that i need.

Grats to the winners. (although, i wanted to STEAL the radiator panel for the FC's hehehehe, just kidding).

At least your car is together and runs. You have no idea how much flak I take for having my car in pieces.

Although the paint was dead on arrival, i just barely got the 83 out of the shop for the meet...I was determined to get both of my FB's out there......many thanks to all who put on the event and also did all the leg work getting the prizes together!

Yeah, I would have been overjoyed to have my shitty looking car running so it could be there.
