YASOR (yet another single on the road)
YASOR (yet another single on the road)
My reman passed 1000 miles over the weekend, and I got the datalogit talking to the wideband...so I opened her up to a shocking 8 psi
The Tial 46mm does a great job of boost control. I get maybe a spike to 8.5-9 psi
I have no boost controller yet...just a boost source plumbed directly to the wastegate.
setup: home grown kit. TO4s(.84 divided hotside) with ebay manifold. Tial 46mm wastegate and custom downpipe. Greddy 2 row FMIC. Midpipe. stock cat back(I know....i know). Supra pump, but the rest of the fuel system is stock for now. PFC, datalogit
with the 8 psi, and running about 11.5-12:1 afr on the wideband...the PFC correction factors are maxed out at 1.496 and the inj. duty cycles are running 87-90%. IGL is about 15 degrees...conservative. Guess I better get those 1600s installed.
The car has a pretty serious "shimmy" under WOT...like "warped" brakes under braking. Is that "normal" I kinda expected the acceleration to be more smooth with the rotary.
I haven't actually watched the boost response too much in lower gears because I've been too busy watching other things(wideband, etc)...spose I could log boost vs rpm....but in 5th if I lug it at 2k, i'll get 5-6 psi by 2.5k rpm and it'll really start pulling by 2.8k or so.
