I can make 15 PSI (full boost for me) at 3500-3600 rpm on my T04S with a street port. I think this car drives way better than stock twins! Yeah, if you try to stab it from 1500 RPM you're not going to go anywhere, but if you drive like that you really belong in a corvette anyhow.

I run a 1.0 divided. It would be very interesting to compare info on our cars... what is your full boost PSI and when do you get it? When I say I can make full boost by 3500, that's starting in 4th or 5th lugging it from about 2000... this gives it plenty of time to build up. If I do a punch from 2nd or 3rd, the RPM is going up so fast that I might not really hit full boost until closer to 4000.

Do you have a street port? I have a pretty good sized exhaust port and medium-sized intakes. (Pics available at http://www.zeroglabs.com/rx7/porting.htm )

Either way I think it drives great on the street! I was actually considering moving to a 1.15 because I could tolerate more lag I think and might make more top end. Have you dynoed your car yet?

My car was at around 410-415 rwhp and 350 rwtq with *very* (overly) conservative timing from 6750-8000 rpm. I think if I just move my timing back to where I had it before, I can break 440+ rwhp at 15 PSI.

i too have a To4s and i hit full boost at around 4000 in any gear on my stock engine. the only problem that i have is i get walked on in 1st gear, but i catch up and pass during 2nd, so i have to learn to launch under boost.
