XS To4S, anyone try this kit on a road course yet?

So i know the kit makes good numbers and is good for the strip/street but has anyone used the XS T04S kit on an open track before yet? If so, how is the response, lag, and power range and how does the kit perform overall. Thinking of going bigger sometime in the near future and would likely consider this as a good option.

XS builds the cheapest turbos ever. Dont get one. to4s is nothing special, its a 60mm wheel with an s trim cover. (4" machined inlet). p trim blah blah blah 2.5" outlet.. if you want something that size look at like a gt61r or something

My XS T04S positively smoked just about everything at Summit Point when I went... and that was running 10 PSI with only a rough tune! My car puts down around 405 rwhp at 14 PSI running a conservative 10.9 AFR. I like the turbo, but I'm not sure it's enough of a difference from your current RX-6 to justify the costs and time involved.

I do NOT think you need to buy your turbo at XS (just makes it easier)... just get the same specs from cheapturbo.com or someplace... but then you need to get the rest of the parts to make a whole kit.

What's nice about that turbo is you can purchase it anywhere, with a bunch of different options. I have to agree with Wargasm though, it's not much of a step up from what you are currently running. Maybe a T04R or T-62 is in your future?

Yeah T04R would be the ideal consideration actually. I was just wondering about the T04S
