simple question ... will a GT42r fit on the manifold of a t88 greddy turbo ? or will it be a huge difference ..

i got someone giving me a great deal on one ... so i might jump on it that is if it fits ... soooo maybe soon im gonna have a 500 mile polished t88 for sale !!

yeah should be the same, they all have the T4 footprint, GT series is just a new line of more efficient turbos

It will fit on the manifold but probably not in the car without major modification to it. Most likely will hit the shock tower with that manifold.

my buddy has a gt42 non bb and it's a t6 footprint not t4. I would hold off on selling your t88 until you make sure your manifold will be okay for the gt42.

Yea, my GT42R is a T5 (Garret Large Frame) so it won't fit on a T4 flange. I know because I bought a T4 metal gasket and relized it was too small. You have to find out what footprint the GT42 has. They do come in T4 footprints but they also come in T5/T6 as well.
