Why big turbo guys prefer front mount over V?

sk8world is wanted to step up to a s475, but i dont think his A-spec manifold will filt the thing.
It's been a long time so I don't remember exactly which manifold he has but it memory serves it is likely a no on fitment.

My pictured setup is with a BW to4b, 60 compressor (too small) and 1.15 P-trim divided. Its on a moderately reworked FD ebay manifold (which has held up fine). I'm upgrading to a 60-1 compressor, which is substantially larger and will be close to the radiator. There is a shorty K/N that fits, but it is small. I'm still working on how to fit a bend and a properly sized filter

I would agree that Holset does look larger than that other pic.

Yeah it compares to a GT42 are GT45 cant remember, was over kill anyways. Hard to lift haha.
I will be going GT35r with a tail housing this time I think...

That turbo above is nuts haha

but yeah most have a manifold that sets the turbo to far up and forward to get a goos V-mount fitted
