Why big turbo guys prefer front mount over V?
~S~
My pictured setup is with a BW to4b, 60 compressor (too small) and 1.15 P-trim divided. Its on a moderately reworked FD ebay manifold (which has held up fine). I'm upgrading to a 60-1 compressor, which is substantially larger and will be close to the radiator. There is a shorty K/N that fits, but it is small. I'm still working on how to fit a bend and a properly sized filter
Yeah it compares to a GT42 are GT45 cant remember, was over kill anyways. Hard to lift haha.
I will be going GT35r with a tail housing this time I think...
That turbo above is nuts haha

Running the HKS cast manifold and the Garrett T04S turbo... V-mount fits fine.. even the airpump is left on there =)

wanna play "hide the turbo" ? =)
but yeah most have a manifold that sets the turbo to far up and forward to get a goos V-mount fitted
