Where to weld BOV?

I just wanted to know where the best place is to weld the BOV? I have seen various setups with BOVs either welded pre or post intercooler. Can someone please provide some helpful insight on the pros and cons of either setup?

Thanks!!!

its usually best to mount the BOV as close to the throtlle body as possible. you get boost quicker when your off then back on the gas, since pressured air has already been through the IC.

either way, it wont really make a noticable difference.

I have mine close to the TB. When I re-do my IC piping I'm going to keep the BOV near the TB, and I'm also going to put a BOV near the turbo.

Sure.... I really don't know why unless you had a totally huge turbo and couldn't find a BOV to handle it. But that is highly unlikely.
