i just don't see why i can get a DP for stock twins for $50 by megan racing (who as far as i know makes the stock twin DPs that RX7store sells) and adding a v-band flange ups the price to $300...?? it's insane!

Just have a local welding shop build you one. It will be cheaper and you can get your exact spec.

I lowered the price on our downpipe. You wont find a local place that will do it much cheaper than that.

Stock twin down pipes are of a known dimension. Single turbo down pipe for WHAT TURBO?? WHAT KIT?? WHICH EXHAUST MANIFOLD?? WHICH EXHAUST DOES IT CONNECT TOO?? Theres a LOT of single turbo kits out there, almost NONE of them can use the same DP from one another due to the manifold design, the attachment point of the turbines, and were the DP ends, whats it going to (after market exhaust?)?? Its almost ALWAYS going to be a custom built piece unless your lucky enough to get one specific for the kit you have (IF you even have a kit, and not something pieced together), or you find one that almost works and you can do a little tweaking (READ: RE-Welding) to it to get it to work. Nearly all modern turbine housings use a V-band clamp. If it doent have a clamp, its most likely a slip fit joint which SUCKS and usually needs some kind of fitting to be welded to it. Seeing as though a v-band kit cost about the same as a lame flange kit wiht nuts and bolts and a ONE TIME USE GASKET, the v-band pays for it self buy removing or even re-positioning the turbo ONE TIME.
