On the TO4s turbo which is the better A/R? The 1.0 or the .84. What is the A/R anyway and what would the difference in the do to performance and spool up?
Also, are the TO4s turbos that XS use the same as the HKS TO4s?
The guys at XS would not tell me A/R they use on there TO4s kit, he said it is a secret and I could find out myself if I bought the kit.. I thought that was bullshit. I want to know what I am buying.

All things on the turbo being equal, a bigger turbine A/R will mean the turbo takes longer to spool. It will also mean that the powerband will be higher in the rev band.

For example: a 0.63 turbine will give you fast spool, but the turbo appears to fall on its face at say 5000 RPM. With a 0.84 the turbo spools to full boost slower, but the turbo does not fall flat until 6500 RPMs.
