Techedge either prebuilt or kit form is definitely the way to go. You can also check out the American DIY site at
http://www.diy-efi.org/diy_efi/projects/diy_wb/
This site is the basis for the OZ WB from techedge. I have built both the American and OZ WBs and they are simply excellent tools. Right now the only downside to these units is the lack of cheap sensors.

Jeff48,
Would you say the accuracy of the Techedge kit is pretty good? So far, mine seems to be reading reasonable values, but I would like to back it up with another brand at least one time to be sure it is spot on....

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
I have the Autronic Model A wideband and I am VERY happy with it
It has some cool features combining multi coloured LED + Numerical output and multi channels for data loging 0-1v and 0-5v both simultaneously.
It is very fast and dead consistent, for the money I am very happy I got it + if you run an Autronic ECU you can auto tune with it as well which is quite handy
Only down side is if you are after a small unit, then you will not like the Autronic.........but it performs like a champ for the dollars.
