Wastegate stuck open? Not making boost.
Finally got to take my FD for a drive. I don't seem to be making positive boost, according to the peak boost my PFC commander.
This is my first time driving a single turbo FD or a car with a dump pipe.
I think I can hear my waste gate opening at about half throttle, which seems too early.
The turbo is a TD06-25 with a Trust external wastegate that should be set for 0.8 bar, but also has an HKS EVC 5. I may have had the boost turned all the way down, but it should have still made 0.8 bar because of the spring unless the wastegate is stuck open.
Any ideas?
