Wastegate spring option
I'm getting ready to live in germany for 2 years so I will be letting my mother drive my RX-7 while im gone, just to keep the fluids running. For better reliability and safety issues I would like to untune my car from 15 psi to 10 psi. Mom doesn't really need that much power. I have a TiAL 44 mm WG with a .6 bar spring (8 psi). Is that spring to much to run 10 psi or should I get a small spring.

Depending on your exhaust setup, I question whether your single 44mm gate could actually hold 8psi consistently in all weather. Even if it does creep a little bit (say to like 10 or 12psi in cold weather) it's still your mom driving the car. She's probably not the type to be doing motor-risking highway pulls.
I would just turn off the boost controller or put it on a "low boost" setting of 10 or 12psi. It will be fine.

he prob wants to detune it so that his mom doens't loose control trying to get in front of traffic. i could only imagine my mom driving a 400whp car, i frankly wouldn't feel safe giving my mom a high power car.
