Wastegate spring...

how hard is it to change the WG spring? Can it be done while still on the car? I have a tial 46mm. that i bought used. And the owner told me it was a 10lbs spring but I would like to check the spring and see for sure. (should have done this before installing it i know) Also if someone can tell me the color codes i would apreciate it.

Thanx,
Cyan

i have the tial wastegate as well! all you have to do is take out the allen screws around the top of the wastegate and make sure you hold the top because when the last screw comes out theres 10psi pushing the cover off! the spring should be red if its 10 psi

If its not too extremly stripped get some valve grinding compound and put on the tip of the allen and hope for the best.....
