I got the apexi rx6b kit, and at idle, it seems like the wastegate is slightly open. Is this normal? It's louder, but I would have thought it would seal completely until the vacuum opens it up higher in the rpm range?

the spring inside the wastegate should keep it close at idle.

 

how do you like the apex-i?

 

i've heard of problems with the apexi wg diaphrams might want to take it out and check it
