vids of my s366 fd. 538hp

It was a long time in the making, but my fd is finally done. street ported motor s366 turbo made 538hp at 26lbs. Pros aka(Japtrix) built the car, I am in the process of getting bigger injectors, so we can turn boost up. Also, different manifold for more power. LOL, sorry for long video, friend of mine did it.

Any pics/vids or the dyno chart itself? Can we get some more details on your setup (injecs, pumps, ignition, etc...)

the BW S300/66 looks like a very nice turbo on paper.

while it has approx the same size inducer as most of the "67" mm turbos (PT67, TO4Z, GT500) it has a larger exducer...

S300/66---------- 66 X 91.4

PT67 et al--------- 67 X 84

average compressor area

S300/66------- 7.74 sq inches

PT67 et al------ 7.0

so you are probably talking about approx 10% more air.

the hotside is where it gets interesting.

S300/66 average turbine wheel area-------- 7.151 sq inches

PT67------------------------------------------------- 5.17 or 5.8

as you can see there is a monster diff in the hotside favoring the BW.

as to typical 67 mm max flow is 73 pounds per minute

BW did not publish a 66 compressor map in their catalog.

they did publish a compressor map for the next smaller S300, the 63. the 63 has a smaller inducer than the other 67 turbos but has a larger exducer so it measures in the same overall size as the 67s at 7.0 sq inches.

BW did publish a compressor map for the 63 in the catalog and it maxes at 77 pounds per minute.

i have seen that same map labled as a S300/66 which is an error as the 66 has 10% more wheel area. no doubt it is an 80 pound per minute wheel... look for a touch over 600 rw rotary hp SAE.

here's how it matches w my GT4094r which is an 80 pound turbo...

-----------------------average comp area-----------aver turbine area

S300/66----------------7.7 sq inches--------------------7.1 sq inches

GT4094r----------------8.1---------------------------------6.423

bring lots of fuel and water/meth to the party and good luck

The wastegate is welded to the intercooler? I'm guessing you meant the blow off. But I was wondering if the wastegate off the turbo manifold went right out dump or back in the exhaust

looks like you can make a list of what the shop told you they put on your car. nice.

the wastegate is obviously welded to the manifold. the question was whether it was re-routed back into the downpipe or left to vent to open air. Maybe you could call the shop and ask them haha.

Wow, 850/1100cc of fuel for 26psi at 538hp.

I wonder what injector duty percentage they are running?

yea same here. He must be running some high fuel pressure with those pumps to make it work.

Lets see some videos of it on the street and how it spools

no offense but i suggest getting anothe tuner, 850 and 1100 is not enough fuel to run that much power at that boost levels.

I see you stayed with the PFC instead of switching to Microtech like you stated in another thread..

maybe he is, but it doesnt look like he him self knows what setup is.

What ecu are you running?

just asking because i thought that you posted in another thread that your tuner told you that the PFC and HKS twin power were having issues and that you were looking into microtech.

https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...2&postcount=22

Reason im asking all this is because im looking for a tuner for my setup with the S366 and PFC.

Since your in palm beach also, I am sure you know who japtrix are. At one point we all were looking for a microtech, to swap out the pfc. I am not sure what was going on, I am new to turbo cars, only my second one. My father had rotarys non-turbo when i was younger, hence started the rotarys for me. I am not a tuner nor engine builder. However, in the end the pfc worked out, and this is the outcome.

Thanks for the info.

How many injectors are you running, because 2 850cc and 2 1100cc is not enough fuel for that power level, are you running more injectors.

Thanks, maybe we can meet to check her out, im in the process of getting mine tuned if i find a tuner localy that be better.
