V mount and radiator angle

How much does the angle of the radiator, matter, in a V mount setup? A few setups I have seen, look pretty shallow. Is this due to space and clearance issues? Or the fact that pressurized air is being directed into the V mount layout?

I think it all depends on how you duct it. For example, The Rad/Intercooler can be lay allot flatter if the Air coming through the front of the car is divided and ducted.
