Urgent Help needed -- T70 A/r 0.7

Guys, this doesn't look too much like the Garrett T70 to me but it's called Super T70 and claim to be able to support 695hp. It's got an A/R of 0.7 (didn' specify hot or cold side) and has an inlet and outlet of 3" and 2" only. Anyone's got experience with this particular turbo?

In the pic, it looks no bigger than a T04E. Any comments would be appreciated as I need to decide quickly whether this is really a T70 as the seller claims before I pay up.

I dunno all the specs for for comparison I have a GT3540 Garrett and the Compressor side is .70A/R and Exhaust is 1.06 A/R. If its got a .70 on the hot side Pass it up.

Well, I'd seriously look into the overheating/not starting problem you are having before buying any turbos...

2 separate issues. Buying a turbo now doesn't mean I've to put it on immediately. I've got the wastegate and manifold and I've got FMIC and greddy elbow with AIC installed and e-manage standing by. The engine is half stuffed and if it's beyond help, I'll get a reman.

Back to the turbo, if the turbine inlet is 3", it looks from the photo that the housing can't be more than 6" across. That can't be a T70 right which I thought, from other photos I've seen, must be measuring close to 9" across?

I don't *think* it's a T-70... .84 isn't too bad I don't think. My TO4R is .96 a/r hot and 70 on the compressor.

Didn't mean to sound like a dick earlier. There are lots of "dreamers" here that just jump all over the place with no real direction. I try to use my knowledge (Little that it is) to help when I can. That's what we're here for right?

Good luck finding a setup.

Thanks jdjuedgel1. I suppose with the same compressor but a smaller turbine, the spool up should be similar to yours but lower maximum boost? How does you particular setup spool up?

I saw that turbo... I was wondering why it just says "Turbocharger" on it... kinda made me question the quality.. its similar to a T04S w/ a smaller exhaust housing.... never listen to the quotes on how much hp the turbo can make b/c you probably will never see it. Expect w/ a good streetport... around upper 300's to lower 1/4 of the 400's at 13-14psi... + everything else on the motor... and some tuning. Spool should be around 3.5k

That's a T3 exhaust side. Unless you are going to run 2 or put it on a Honda w/cams and port you probably shouldn't buy this turbo.

Thanks for all the response. It looks pretty small in the pic but I just don't realise its small as a T3. The seller claimed its good for 690+hp that's why I initially thought it really is a T70 as the ad claimed.
