upgrading my stock HT18 by myself?

upgrading my stock HT18 by myself?

I was looking at rebuild my turbo myself its in good condition rite now and im a pretty good do it myselfer.... anyways i was looking into turbo rebuild kits they look pretty stright forward and ive taken apart a turbo before ( A dsm 14b ) anyways i wanted to run an upgraded compressor and matching housing? what parts would i need what would be a good wheel to support up to 300-350 hp ? anyone ever done it before? someone got the parts numbers avialible ? or any opinons would be helpful thanks alot

While I cant help much on your original queery, you realize that swapping compressor blades requires a balancing, and without a ultra precise VSR balance job that turbo will probably shake itself to death, these things spin in the tens of thousands of RPMS...

The factory HT-18 turbos basically use the same parts as a Garrett T-4.
