Upgrade Question-T-78 Turbo

I am planning on getting a 93 or 94 rx-7, and i am planning on getting a Greddy t-78 turbo kit. My question is, that after i get it a boost controller and intercooler, what else am i going to need? Will the stock motor internals be able to handle 500 rwhp? Also, how street drivable would it be? I dont want it to be a problem with regular street driving. Anyone that has used this setup, or has one that they would recommend, please let me know. Thanks, Robert.

fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail, possibly a fuel pressure regulator if you want to be thorough. Also going ot need an engine management system of some sort, new blow off valve, and a pipe fabricated from the turbo to the intercooler.

Unless it is tuned very very well it's going to have a lot of lag on the street.

With everything you mentioned, and I mentioned, plus labor...budget about $7500 to be safe.

Porting, a full exhaust, fat *** tires, fuel management, fuel system, clutch able to handle the power, ignition system, good tuning, race gas, etc.
The stock internals will handle the power.

Drivability? Well just as good as any low 10 sec. car would be. Breaking the tires loose at 50 mph.

I would be looking at 10K+

If you are looking for 500rwhp you better open up that motor and port it and freshen it up by changing all the seals and going through and check all your clearances. How many miles does the current engine have? Stock assembly and motor will hold up to 500rwhp but on the streets you better have a good tuner and water injection if you are looking into running pump gas. If not water injection have a steady supply of Toulene to add to your tank. It's not about making 500rwhp it is about making 500rwhp reliably. What's the use of putting all those parts together and blowing it up. You need to do some searching and find more information on this build up. I'm putting together a motor combo right now that is going to put down 500+rwhp and I'm over the 10K mark already and I'm not even done with it.
