umm ghetto s4 n/a turbo conversion
i was just thinking of doing a low boost (4psi) with a high setting of 8psi on a s4 turbo running the a stock s4 n/a mani set up and a medium sized fmic, or just put a couple top mounts in series behind the grill since i already have one, and top mounts are a dime a dozen
so i was thinking using this set up:
s4 n/a manifolds and tb
2 stock tmic's in series
stock s4 turbo+mani w/ ported waste gate
cheap motoria 3" downpipe into my dynomax rust back
550 primary 720secondary
fd fuel pump
microtech lt-10s
13b-t front cover swap
2.5" exhaust mani spacer
oil filter pedastal bypass line to turbo
large s/p with s4 na rotors
Ugh anyone think 8psi is too much even with a good tune on an lt10s? i dont wanna run too much and pop it haha
And is 5psi good for everyday?
thanks
the drawing board
umm comments?

Wastegate spring on the s4 turbo is 6psi I believe. You can't boost lower than that without leaving pipes unclamped or something.
@ Turbo II Rotor. He mentions ported wastegate, hopefully he wont have creep issues.

Anything less then 8 PSI on that turbo is a massive waste of time.
If you must use the stock S4 turbo, just run it at 10 PSI and be happy.
If you really, really want to run 4 PSI, then just do it on the NA ECU with a bigger set of secondaries.
