two years and under 20 post

well i have been a member on this site for about two years. i read it daily and i finally got a chance to take some pictures of my project. so what do you guys think? everything done so far is my own work with the help from a local chrome plater and mazdatrix with the rebuild.

also the first couple of pictures makes the rotor housings look pink. they are actually dark purple to match the samco purple radiator hose. it is almost the same color as the clutch. nobody panic its not pink i swear.

Brian,

I've seen your motor and car down at the shop - glad to know you're on the board and we have another 3rd gen in Omaha!

BTW, who did your port work - they look very nice!!

the port work was done my mazdatrix along with the motor assembly. the chrome plating was done by industerial plating. transonic did nothing but waste my money. 3000.00 and i built his display cases that you see in the front of the shop for my car to sit at brandons shop for a year with broken promises that he was going to build my v-mount and order the power fc. so anyway about two months ago i decided to do the work myself. so i had my car towed out of transonic and into my garage. i still need to get my money back from brandon at transonic but i have been friends with him for about 9 years and i know how he is with money. so that might be a little hard.

the chrome piece is a heat shield on the hot side of the turbo. found it on ebay but it looks really good for $75.00

I would get one of those heatshields but my turbo is too big for that thing to fit...I guess I'll just get a turbo blanket, the engine looks kick *** by the way

Do you guys ever go to Scribner, or up to Thunder Valley in SD? All of the times I have been down there, I have only seen 1 FD.
