Hey all,

I’m in the process of doing a full rebuild and single turbo conversion, and just got a used manifold that the seller told me was a divided T4. I’m running a twin scroll T04S for reference. The package just arrived today and it is for sure not a divided T4 flange. I know I’m theory there will be a difference in lag but my question here is, will it be noticeably worse if I just say screw it and run my setup as is? Or should I delay everything and contact the seller and track down another manifold?

Get a proper twinscroll mani from Turblown. Its one of the great advances in turbo tech over the years.

 

I would definitely track down the seller for a refund if it was advertised as divided/twin scroll and it isn't..

 

Return it and get a true twin scroll manifold. Your boost response will thank you for it. I personally like Full Race.

 

Agree with everyone here....if you paid for a divided manifold since you have a divided turbo housing you should most definitely rip that guy who sold that to you and then get the setup right on the next pass.
