Turbos on ebay
Turbos on ebay
Ok so I'm looking to find a new turbo for my 87 TII stock. I'm wondering has anyone had a good experience with buying turbos or related parts off of ebay. Also, I havn't heard of some of these turbos or there hybrid, how can I determine if what they are claiming is true for HP/trq? Compressor wheel size number? I'm kinda new to this if you havn't figured this out yet and I just want my car to make a arround a driveable 300hp. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks.
Not to many people are going to comment on this as it always starts a flame war. my suggestion, do a google search for a trubo rebuilder, and have them modify yours, its safer, and you get exactly what you want, not something thats almost. I went round and round on a similiar subject, and ending up wasting a lot of money before I got my **** together.

If you have a stock TII I don't think you want a turbo off of ebay as most are universal. IMO I think you want a hybrid stock turbo. Look up BNR, used to be BNR Supercars but might be just BNR now. They got some good hybrid updates.
haha i saw them selling knockoff T67 turbos on ebay...dont trust that crap its like buying a Tsudo exhaust or ChromeXS intercooler looks like the real thing prolly feels like but sure doesnt perform cuz theydont have R and D involved cuz theyre made in China by ppl that have never seen a turbo car
only turbos besides like garret, turbonetics, hks, would be the cheaper master power turbos. Master power has proven themselves and are very good quality for a great price! contact bobybeach on this forum he knows all when it comes to those things and usually gets a damn good price for them
