As far as I can tell this is an old school T3 turbo. I am no expert but this is probably good for a small 4 cylinder in the 200 to 300 hp range. If I am correct this is definitely not a replacement for stock twins for a FD at all and would be low 200's on a 13B-REW.

What is the reason for wanting to run this turbo and how do you plan to run it? I can't think of anyone making a off the self manifold and down pipe that would make this work.

Even if you got the turbo for free it would probably cost more in custom fab work to run this then a properly sized brand new Borg Warner SX or SXE turbo kit from a vendor on this forum.

A more trouble than it's worth. If you want a cheap single get a plain bearing borg warner.

Thanks for all the replies fellas. I have to admit I'm a bit confused on what turbo to get. I just want a nice turbo for my stock motor nothing radical just something that will spool quick and still keep my car dependable

your stock twins are superior to this turbo which is an old school T3 and if the tiny exhaust housing and turbine wheel doesn't blow your motor from excess heat/backpressure the teeny wastegate will.

the turbo as a part of the overall cost to go single is often a modest part of the bill. you will need to do your homework. if you are looking for modest power upgrade and are currently on a tight budget you would be smart to look at a Borg Warner S300 60 which are well built, have nice size hotsides and are available all over the net for pretty low $s. you do not want to make the wrong decision on a turbo.
