turbo upgrade help
i have finished my 86 gxl to a 89 turbo 2 conversion sparing sparing nothing left of the donor car.
I currently have a fmic, full 3" exhaust, hks bov, hks air filter walboro fuel pump. The donor car supposidly has a port job but i cant remember which 1 Most of these parts were on the donor car except the fmic and bov.
Also i idle at exactly 750-800 rpm at 15 vacumn
i currently hit full 14 psi at 6k and spool starts as low as 3200rpm.
at 14 psi the boost may rise to 15 but no higher (no boost controller installed)
How can i tell if i have a aftermarket turbo? What does the stock turbo have on the compressor as far as marking because i do have some things on it.
What can be done to this current turbo? New bigger compresor? clipping the exhaust fins?
Who does the work listed one line above^ ^ ^ ^ ?
