i just bought a 93 rx7, and i plan on using it as a reliable daily driver and as a well balanced autoXer. I've been looking at the A-spec tuning GT35R Turbo kit. i just wanted to know if anyone has this turbo kit, and if it spools up really quick like they say, and anything thing else you might want to say about it.

If you actually care about auto-x, you will want to stick with the stock twins.

If autocross is your goal and you want the single, then look into the 35R with the divided T4 .84 housing. That will spool exceptionally quick much more simple to deal with than the twins while offering mid 300's in power. Then if you get board and want more power you can always switch to the larger turbine housing later.

I used to run A-Spec's 35R kit and was very happy with it.

I helped install and tune a 35r from Jason with the T3 hotside, lightning quick spool, with a very respectable top end.

if you use any of the t4 hotsides regardless of which vendor you order form you will notice a slightly slower spool, but more topend as you go up in hotside a/r's

so it really depends upon what the track you will be running on. a small short track with lots of turns = t3 hotside and insta spool.

A larger track with more potential for top end = t4 with your choice of a/r

either would be a great option
