Turbo mounting question

Forgive my ignorance on this subject, but is it possible to mount a turbo vertically, with compressor facing up and turbine facing down?

I would think that unless the turbo was built specifically for this, that the bearings would disintegrate.

It is not do-able unless you have a scavenge pump on the oil drain.

The oil relies on gravity to drain through the bearings and without it, it will leak a lot of oil, coke and eventually destroy your turbo seals and bearings.
