After buying a complete TII drivetrain, i have decided to just snag all the turbo parts off the engine and just turbo my NA motor. I will be using the rearend, trans and all that good stuff, just not the motor.

Any ways my questions...
on the exhaust manifold there is a metal "flap" that appears to block off one side of the turbo, i assume it is to help will lag but mine seems to be stuck? I mean i guess i dont know for sure how much vacuum it takes to open-close it however i used every ounce of strength in my body and i couldnt get it to budge...

Also i bought a pair of turbos for a different project which i have now gotten rid of so i was wondering if i may be able to use one of them on my RX7. They are ebay turbos but i have used a few of them and havent had any problems so...
(size wise it is basicaly a garrett T61) I woudl be building a custom manifold if this turbo will work. How would it compare to the stock S4 turbo i have?
