SS autochrome = XSpower
They can do simple stuff, like piping and intercooler but their other engineering is shoddy.
Their headers break/tear, the wastegates have a tendency to leak, the BOVs are cheap and their turbo''s don't last long.
Many people in the Honda scene get this stuff, every part except the piping in those kits has some flaw and most people end up replacing anything that breaks by something better.
So the endresult is that just the SSAC piping remains.
Not worth the trouble IMO

Try one out classic and let us know how it works!
Wet floating ball bearing???
I could always buy 4 or 5 of those for my next jet engine project.

Ive seen the above happen on genuine garrett gt35/40 so i wouldnt get too carried away.
NEVER BUY OFF EBAY.
Buy of a trusted seller who can provide a warranty and has a good track record with good QA and good aftersales service. I dont know how many times i have to say it.

Last turbo of this type I ran into completely seized after a couple thousand miles of break in driving and 7 psi boost (motor was new) I couldn't even budge the wheel by hand. I would steer clear. I had a customer bring me an ss autochrome or xs power or whatever manifold to the shop the other day for inspection. The welds were terrible. It looked like they ground all of them down then chromed over them to hide the flaws. The inside of the manifold looked like someone took a die grinder to it. There were a lot of sharp edges on the transitions and where they joined the pieces of tubing together. A sharp edge in the exhaust will be subject to becoming superheated. This can cause hot spots, super high egts, etc as unburnt fuel is ignited in the exhaust. The sharp edges can also break off causing severe damage to the turbo. This is similar to engine builders who will use NA housings in a turbo motor without changing the exhaust sleeves. They grind them down leaving a sharp edge that is subject to becoming superheated by the exhaust. I have even seen this melt the exhaust sleeve.
