Turbo choices
I'm going single w/i the next month. I'm getting my motor rebuilt with a large street port. I'm trying to achieve about 500 rwhp. I have already done just about every bolt on upgrade possible including fuel, programmable ecu, etc. I'm currently looking at the Greddy t-78 kit but would be interested in other kits around the same price range. Maybe one that would provide the same amount of power but spool a little quicker. I'm planning on running about 14psi normally and mayber 17 psi at the track. Thanks for any input.

Im Curious as to why people use such big turbo for so little boost. A 60-1 or a 62-1 would be better for that boost range. The Greddy T78 really gets kicking over 20 psi

500 hp damn
when mine eventually goes together I would like somewhere in the 400 rwhp range (gotta keep up...er pass....my bosses c5 and my friends fbodies). would the 60-1 62-1 be the best choice? seems that or a t44 might be a better option (for me at least) since Im not looking to make that much hp.

I think we need to have a sticky at the top of this forum with info to look at BEFORE you post in this topic. There are far to many people asking the same questions...
Anyone want to start it??

We need a RX-7 Single Turbo FAQ.
List all the turbo's with the approximate HP range and boost levels etc. All available with a search or on websites, but some people can't be bothered :-)
