Top speed single turbo
In this sense, power is power. 350 hp from a single, and 350 hp from twins will not make your car reach a higher top speed as you are limited by the gears/***** you have.
Vague statement on my part, but you know where I am coming from with this~

I would guess that most single FDs would run all the way to the top of redline in 5th. I'm not sure of the HP required to pull it up there and I really wouldn't want to find out. I think gearing runs out at 189 if you have the stock 4.1 rear end thats in all manuals trans cars.
I never went as fast with the single
but just like fastcarfreak I was scared how fast mine would finish out 4th gear and would stop there because it seemed like it would keep going

I did only 155 mph on stock twins with mine (secondary turbo was only working half *** cause of a vac leak) - but yeah. Can't wait to see what the single will bring!
Did 204mph in a friends Porche 911TT running around 690hp or some ****. That was ******* scary.

yea I just knew it would keep going and my drag radials werent meant to be for topspeed. I had over double the stock rwhp of a fd and those do 155-160 so who knows
with the twins I also let off but for different reasons the main one being because it was taking too long

I did 165 a while back with my twins and yesterday I hit 120 with the single and that actually scared me a little bit haha...I think my high speed days may be over. Holding 120 I was at about 30% throttle on my avcr so I'm pretty confident the car could top out 5th gear with a US tranny. My 5th tops out at 170 or so.
I hit 168 years ago with the twins as well.. havent tried yet with the single since I have 150 more hp and it gets scary staying on it for to long at those speeds.. Plus these cars are so light im a little worried the car will just lose it..
I think the speedo gets a lot less accurate anything over 100mph..

I hit 170 when I got my car last march. I reached that speed a few more times running non-sequential just a bit easier to get there. After the single was on I hit 180 without a problem I just forgot to put hold on my pfc to convert it :/ so I don't know how fast I went.

i second that... i hit 170 with the twins, but havent gone over 150 with the single... it just gets up their so quick now
and my front tires are bald...
186... on I-8 from phoenix az, to san diego , ca, on my way to hot import nights a couple years ago. A little bit of advice to anyone thinking about going that fast...LEARN TO TUNE OUT THE GIRLFRIENDS SCREAMS, AND EXPECT YOUR LEG TO GO NUMB FROM HER KUNG-FOO GRIP!!! Needless to say i will never try that again!!!!
